To commemorate our 30th year in business, SureFire has released a limited edition gift set which includes an E1B Backup flashlight and SureFire Pen 1 packaged in a wooden gift box. Both the pen and light are hand anodized red, silver and black and sequentially numbered. The wooden gift box also includes a matching hand anodized and engraved logo plate. Each gift set comes with a letter of authenticity from Dr. John Matthews, the company's founder and president. Only 1,800 sets were produced. The Backup is an ultra compact dual-output flashlight developed as a duty light for plainclothes officers or as a backup light for patrol officers as described in SureFire's Tactical Trinity® system for law enforcement, but is also ideal for outdoor, self-defense, and everyday use. It features a virtually indestructible power-regulated LED emitter and a precision Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. The SureFire Pen is a new addition to the ever-growing SureFire family - and it fits in perfectly. It boasts a rugged aerospace-grade aluminum body that's Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized like many of its brothers; and it's perfectly balanced for writing.
